Reporting Credits

Q: How do I report credits for live viewing of sessions?
A: Navigate to this page to find information on how to report recertification credits for the viewing of live sessions and to see how many recertification credits AFP FinNext 2021 Virtual is currently eligible for.

Q: How do I report credits for sessions viewed on-demand?
A: If you watched a session on-demand, then you will need to self-report FPAC, CTP and CCM credits for each session you watch on-demand after the live viewing. On-demand sessions viewed after the live delivery are not eligible for CPE credits.

Registration

Q: How do I login to the AFP FinNext 2021 Virtual platform?
A: You can access the virtual platform by using log-in credentials emailed on March 18, 2021. This login can only be used by the registrant and can not be shared. AFP will be monitoring access during the event and those found sharing a login will be removed from the AFP FinNext 2021 Virtual platform and will not receive a refund as this breaks our policy.

Q: What is included in my registration fee?
A: A full conference registration includes:

  • Access to all sessions.
  • Access to all roundtables, if eligible.
  • Access to recorded sessions through April 30, 2021.
  • AFP Membership (when you pay the non-member rate)

    Q: What is the conference cancellation policy?
    A: AFP accepts only written cancellations to customerservice@afponline.org. Cancellations for registrations postmarked on or before March 17, 2021, will receive a refund of the registration fee. There are no refunds for cancellations postmarked after March 17, 2021. Membership is not refundable. There is no processing fee charge for AFP FinNext Virtual 2021.

    Q: What is the conference substitution policy?

    A: If you cannot attend the conference, you may substitute another person from your company. All requests for substitutions must be made in writing with a completed registration form by March 17, 2021. There is no processing fee charge for AFP FinNext Virtual 2021. Additional fees may apply based on the substitute's membership status.

    Q: Who do I contact if I have questions regarding registration?
    A: You can contact CustomerService@AFPonline.org or call 301.907.2862 and ask for the Customer Service department between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. ET Friday (closed on all U.S. federal holidays)

    Q: What should I do if I have an ADA request?
    A: If you have a disability and require special assistance, please update your event profile online to specify your needs at least two weeks before the event so that we may accommodate your needs. An AFP staff member will contact you with more information regarding your request.


    Education

    Q. When will the educational sessions take place?
    A. All sessions will take place from 12:00 - 4:00 pm, Eastern Time. Sessions will be a mix of live and pre-recorded and noted on the schedule. Live and Pre-Recorded sessions will be available for replay after the conclusion of the AFP FinNext Virtual event.

    If you cannot make the scheduled time of the session, keep in mind that most content will be available to access On-Demand starting after the conclusion of AFP FinNext Virtual through April 30, 2021.

    Technical Requirements

    Q. What browser should I use to view the educational sessions at AFP FinNext 2021 Virtual?
    A. We support the most current version of the popular browsers; Chrome, Safari, Edge, and FireFox. Chrome is the preferred browser.

    IE 11 is no longer supported as Vimeo Livestream is critical and not available on IE.

    Q. I am having trouble logging into the AFP FinNext 2021 Virtual platform. Do you have any tips?
    A. Here are a few things to try to troubleshoot any issues:
    - Clear your cache
    - Disconnect from VPN
    - Use a personal device to access the virtual event, as some company devices have settings that interfere with access

    Q. Are there any IT settings I need to take into consideration in order to access the AFP FinNext 2021 Virtual platform?
    A. Some corporate IT settings might block certain websites. To ensure you have access to the event platform, please have your IT Security team whitelist the following addresses:
